Very fine late 19th/early 20th century oil on canvas genre painting of a young man kissing a young woman seated on a bench with pail, entitled "A Mean Advantage", by George Goodwin Kilburne I (England 1839-1924). The artist was known for genteel Victorian/Edwardian era genre painting. The painting measures 24" x 18" in a style appropriate mid to late 20th century frame, and dates to the late 19th/early 20th century. Bronze Sculpture Cowboy on Horse on a black marble base. 15" long, 12" tall, and 5" wide. Circa 1970's. Julius Ehrke was known for painting genteel interior scenes and figures. The painting measures 16 ¾" x 17 ¾" in a style appropriate mid to late 20th century 21" x 21 ½" frame, and and dates to the late 19th century, bearing the 1883-1884 version of the Winsor & Newton manufacturers stamp on the canvas en verso. Early 20th century oil on canvas painting of a young girl selling flowers, probably in London, untitled, unsigned, inscribed "To dear Harold from Mother Feb 1916" en verso on the frame, described as "The Flower Girl-Manner of Mulready" in the will of a prior owner. The painting is unsigned, but in the style of Augustus Edwin Mulready (England, 1844-1905), who specialized in realistic street scenes of street urchins and vendors. The painting measures 24" x 12" in a damaged style appropriate mid to late 20th century frame, and dates to the 1900-1914 period according to the address given for Kemp & Company in the manufacturers stamp on the canvas en verso and the inscription. Very desirable color lithograph of a flowering lotus plant, entitled "Cinnabar Lotus" signed Dai C. Chang. From a painting by Chinese artist Chang Dai-Chien (aka Zhang Daqian), (China, 1899-1983). The lithograph is number five of a suite of six color lithographs entitled "The Masterworks of Chang Dai-Chien", published in 1974/1975 by Editions Press of San Francisco. 29 ¼" x 20 ¾", framed in a 39" x 32" frame.
