If you are a serious collector of Lionel trains, do not miss this opportunity to acquire one of the most desirable and very hard to find Lionel postwar passenger sets. The set was only made for one year, 1957. It is in excellent condition, with very few signs of use. The set includes: 1) Dual Canadian Pacific diesel locomotives 2373P (powered) and 2373T (unpowered). No boxes for the engines. 2) Three 2552 Illuminated Vista Skyline 500 dome cars with boxes 3) One 2551 Illuminated Banff Park Observation car We are happy to answer any questions or provide additional photographs upon request.Many silver dollars, and other silver and gold coins.High Quality 27" Remington Mountain Man BronzeVery fine watercolor and gouache painting with pencil highlights on artist's board, entitled "Military Patrol", by New Mexico artist Edmond Jules DeLavy (1916-1989), undated, 11" x 24" in a 14 1/2" x 27 1/2" frame. The artist was a member of The Salmagundi Club (an association of New York artists), where this painting was sold at auction in their Spring Auction in 2001 (labels on the back). DeLavy was inspired to become an illustrator by NC Wyeth's illustrations for Treasure Island. From 1934 to 1938, he studied at The Pratt Institute in Brooklyn, NY. He then worked as an illustrator of western pulp novels, such as Western Stories and Wild West Weekly. After serving in WW2, he traveled cross country and visited New Mexico, returning there in 1959 to build an adobe studio in Bernadillo, near Albuquerque, exhibiting his paintings in Old Town Albuquerque. He returned to New York in 1961, then returned again to Bernadillo in 1970, where he lived and painted for the remainder of his life. HRARE Antique WALTHAM Marine Chronometer Clock. In the letter he states that he is 62 years old and has "been in business 33 years in Laurel".
