Each estate sale is unique. An Estate in Time strives to be different by customizing each sale to your specific needs.
Selling an estate can be a difficult and emotional task for the family, home owner or the trustee. To help get you started, we offer a Free of Charge, No Obligation, Walk through Consultation to assess your personal situation. After determining your individual needs, we will recommend options on how to move forward.
Value is added to an estate when time is taken to properly evaluate valuables. To prepare for the sale, your items are organized in an easy to navigate pattern and retail like experience. Once the sale is staged properly, our photographer will move through the home and photograph all items for marketing purposes. We usually take 200-600 pictures for marketing purposes and then market and advertise to over 50,000 people in the Phoenix Metro area utilizing 3 estate sale specific websites, YouTube, google, our own website and email list. Once the pictures are taken, we will research, inventory, price, bar-code, and tag all items so there is no confusion the day of the sale. Receipts are printed at checkout and must be shown at the door for exit to deter theft. We will also provide to you an itemized and detailed inventory of your belongings.
After preparing for the sale, we will invite the public into the home where the merchandise is available for purchase. We will strategically place employees in different rooms to answer questions, assist the buyers, and deter theft.
The items bought by customers integrate with our State of the Art POS system for inventory control and accountability. We provide a full accounting of all your belongings sold and the prices at which the items sold at the end of the sale. Your certified check will be sent by priority mail with signature within 3-5 days following the sale or, with your permission, we will deposit your certified check directly into your bank account and send you a PDF of your itemized report.
