All Specialties is a locally owned and operated estate sale company by myself and my wife Pam. We have been operating as a company since 2013, but we have 15 years’ experience selling and buying collectibles, antiques, mantiques and other items through estate sales and online and live auctions. We actually do the work ourselves, not employees. We are certified auctioneers and personal property appraisers. We are members of the National Auctioneers Association and Colorado Auctioneers Association and as such adhere to their Code of Ethics and are accountable to them for estate tag sales and auctions. We are bonded and insured. We operate on a commission basis. The only other charges are dumpster fees and hazardous or medical waste disposal fees if needed. Those come out of sale revenues. It should never cost you anything up front to do an estate sale. Set up time depends on the home, usually a week for setup and sale the next week. There are always leftovers after the sale. We offer a complete cleanout service. If you desire a complete cleanout afterwards, that can take up to a week after the sale. We do not overlap sales or set them up and do them the same week. Your sale is important enough to us, to do it right! The first step is always a no cost consultation in the home. We gladly provide a list of references. Our philosophy is simple – we treat your sale as if it were our parents’ sale.
As you interview estate sale companies – make sure they are accountable to someone such as the NAA or BBB, have the long term experience appraising the value of your items, are bonded and insured, accept credit cards and charge no extra fee, know the background of their workers, provide a number of references and are taking the time to set up your sale correctly.
