Life Made Simple Again—
Your resource to settle an estate,
downsize, or simplify your life
The Beginning. A business born out of necessity…a desire to live a simpler life…the discovery that personal experiences have far-reaching impact and will help others… These are some of the founding principles that launched Life Made Simple Again, an estate sale business that focuses on making your life simple, or at least a bit easier.
The Process. We understand the situation you are facing now…the need clear out an estate household or downsize...the decisions about what to keep, what to share with family or friends, and ultimately, how and when to sell or dispose of what you do not want to keep. It can be stressful. It can be emotional. With care and compassion, we will help you with those decisions.
Can't wait to see you at our sale. Setup was 3148.
After your keep, share, and sell decisions are made, our team will sort, clean, price and attractively stage remaining household items for sale. An attention-grabbing headline and clear, well-formatted copy will be written for the sale. Focused, captioned photos will accompany the copy for world-wide-web selling.
The amount of time to prep and number of sale days is determined by the size of your household—small households take less time to set-up and sell versus a property that is “stuffed.”
Sometimes not everything in a sale will sell during the allotted time. For appropriate items, we offer after-event selling that can include eBay (or one of the other online selling sites such as One Kings Road, FirstDibs, Etsy, etc), or consignment for sale in a brick-and-mortar shop. For other unsold items, we supervise a charity pickup, and provide you with the charity’s receipt and a list of donated items.
In addition to sorting and selling household items, when necessary, we will handle safe disposal of no-longer-needed medicines, donate unopened healthcare, cleaning supplies, and foodstuffs to community food banks, and deliver eyeglasses to vision charities. Again, where appropriate you get receipts for the donations. Without a doubt, a successful and profitable sale is important, but sometimes going the extra mile on our life journey also provides rewards that keep on giving.
Turnkey Service. After the sale and charity pick-up, when your house is empty, we will “broom clean” sweep floors and wipe down counters tops in rooms we have used.
If selling the property also is on your to-do list, we can help with that as well—primarily through time-tested experience and contacts with some of the best local real estate professionals.
