I begin ALL of my sales on Facebook, where every single person has the opportunity to purchase pictured items before the public sale. This is designed to optimize each sale because All Items that are pre-sold, are at full asking price! This is for the customer who wants to be sure to get a certain item, who is unable to attend to sale and/or who does not care to wait in lines. Most importantly, it is to do as much as I can for each family.
I cannot tell you how many times on the first day of each sale, I have heard "We'll be back tomorrow." or "Is tomorrow 1/2 off ? " or "I am a Re-seller . . . " We all love to get a great deal, but it is my responsibility to do my utmost for each family, they are my priority. I value every person that comes to an estate sale, every purchase helps move their process forward. I just ask that each shopper, will have consideration for the family, to whom the items belong.
My sale days and times vary, are situational. Generally Saturday and Sunday during the school year, Friday and Saturday during the Summer months. And, of course, Facebook Pre-sales.
