This large carved head is from a California artist who carved heads from characters from his imagination. Artist is Elias and this was one of his carvings from the 1980's. This can be a low stool or table.
The head is large measuring 16" tall and approx 12" wide, 10" deep. Elias would find local woods and burls and create wonderful fantastical heads and busts. He was a hiker and naturalist and as a young man would glean wood from all over California forests for his projects

Pickup DetailsPick up details will be sent via a text message. Phone number must be provided when purchasing. Pick up will be in Grass Valley off of hwy 174 near Cedar Ridge.
Pick up will be arranged between 5 and 7pm. Before end of sale. Bring help for loading large purchases.
