This is a set of three original engravings, copyrighted 1993 by Allen Bjorkman, copying 15th and 16th century woodcuts, each handwritten and noted beneath the image, in a double mat including goldtone inner mat, in a narrow molded goldtone frame. (1) "Organist", after woodcut in Theorica Musicae by Francbinus Gafurius, printed by Pbilippus de Mantegatiis, 1492, in Milan, brown mat, framed, 13-1/2"h x 9-3/4"w; (2) "Protestant Easter Hymn", 1566, from Prague, with English translation appearing in paper tag on back, dark green mat, framed,12-3/4"h x 10-3/4"w ; (3) "Keyboards", depicting a virginal and a clavicordium, from Martin Agricola's "Musica instrumentalis deudsh" printed 1529 by GErog Fhau in Wittneberg, mottle burgundy/tan mat, framed, 11-3/4"h x 10-1/4"w.
