We estimate that there are over 2000 books here, most hardcover. They are being sold as one lot, for your bid price, you can take as many (or as few) as you want. Wide variety of subject matter. The original collector had a significant book collection, and while the obvious valuable books have already been sold, there are sure to still be some sleepers in here (first editions, author signed, rare, etc). Many photos provided, so feel free to look them over. The bookshelves are offered as part of another lot, you are bidding on only the books. You have to be done loading your items by 1PM when we leave so you will want to arrive with enough time to pack up your items.
Pick up for this item is Sunday Oct 2nd in Forestdale between 11AM-1PM. Because of the nature of this sale (pick-up at a private residence where we only have limited access) anything not picked up during that time will be considered abandoned and we can't offer a refund as the consignor will still need to be paid.
Because of the size/weight, this is a pick-up only item. No shipping is available.
Pro Tip: All items end at the same time (9:30 PM). To make sure that you get your bids in, bid early and place the max bid that you are willing to pay and let estatesale.net bid for you. Otherwise you will have to keep coming back and bidding again and again. We can’t see your max bid so it is safe.

As is the case with most estate sales, all sales are as-is and final. If you fail to pick up your item at the time agreed upon ,and have not arranged for delivery, we will have to consider the piece abandoned and no refunds will be provided since the opportunity to sell the item to another customer will have passed and the house needs to be cleaned out. We do our best to provide detailed descriptions and pictures of our items so you know exactly what you'll be receiving.

Please pay your invoice with credit card and bring the confirmation number with you when you pick up the item. The number is required for us to release the item (this is how we get paid from the credit card company).
For items that are stored at the Orleans location, Storage Fees are: $5 per day, per item, and then $25 per item each week after. If the item is not picked up within 14 days, it is considered abandoned and will be disposed of in a manner of our choosing.
Delivery services are also available through a third party. Please contact us with your name and address for delivery fees and somebody will get back to you by email.
