NEW PICTURES ADDED 6/4: Restoration Hardware sled - a reproduction of a Hungarian antique sleigh. Nippon hand painted porcelain. Working Nikon D80 body with aftermarket lenses. Loads of blue and white decorative plates. Meakin "Chatham" china.
Those who love antiques, boating and estate sales will be nuts to miss this one. First the antiques. Right as you walk in the front door is a stunning sofa that years ago was in a Newport mansion. It has been restored, restrung and reupholstered. You'll aslo find vintage WWII items such as a portable lighthouse complete with fresnel lens. The star of the show is, hands down, a stenciled 1854 bridal trunk. It is an exceptional piece for primitives collectors.
Next up, let's talk about the furniture. There's an extraordinary Eldred Wheeler corner cupboard; a beautiful china cupboard with an asian motif and curved glass panels; newer furniture from Restoration Hardware, Pottery Barn, and Domain; custom barstools; upholstered chairs plus lots more.
The rest of the sale is comprised of decorative objects, home goods, kitchen ware, freezer, planters, outdoor furniture, garage items, and everything we unpack from storage. Do not miss this sale!
