This sale features the antebellum home, built by Issac Newberry between 1840 and 1846 in historic Oak Hill, Alabama. Newberry was a prominent planter, businessman and civic leader. This home has Montgomery roots - having been the home of Montgomery surgeon, Dr. Bonner Englehardt's great, great, grandfather. Now known as 'Magnolia Hall', it was originally named "CedarCrest" by it's builder, Mr. Newberry, because of the magnificent cedar trees that surround the estate.
