We do not condone Night Before Lists - They are unfair. If you arrive early and discover a list with no one there...you have our blessing to destroy it. You must stay if you sign the group list (bathroom break ok just notify others) - and no signing up of others not there. We admit by first come first serve by single file line. We will not debate any list issues - Not our responsibility.

Again L.A. Estate Sales
Description & Details
Again L.A. invites you to one of the most interesting estate sales you will attend this year! This is the estate of a much loved and respected figure of the Los Angeles figure in the Los Angeles entertainment and arts community - for privacy reasons, we will refer to her by her first name - Naomi.
Born into a prominent east coast family deeply involved in the arts, Naomi's childhood was spent between her family's Florida estate and their Poconos farm - until her parent's separation when she and her mother settled into a family property in Great Neck. As a young woman she began her love affair with theater doing summer stock at the Sea Cliff Theater and even had one of her productions spend five months on Broadway much to her family's delight!
Before Long, Naomi was ready to establish her own path and moved to Los Angeles in 1961. She joined a young professional actors' workshop with Betty Garrett, Richard Dreyfus, Jack Nicholson, Lee Meriwether, Martin Landau, Beau Bridges - and later Jeff Bridges (whom she performed piano duos with), Carroll O'Connor, and Gavin MacLeod. The actors' workshop grew and her-association with it continued through out her life! Naomi's career as a playwright, composer, lyricist, singer, and even actress began to take off!
Growing up surrounded by the arts and artists including Picasso and Marc Chagall further inspired Naomi's natural artistic talent to cross over into painting and she soon found her works being shown at the prestigious Ankrum Gallery which led to her expanding her circle to include many fellow Los Angeles artists - even becoming life long friends with Bernie Casey and Morris Broderson. Many of the works in the estate were acquired during her Ankrum days.
The estate contains a huge library of books covering a broad spectrum of interests from Hollywood and theater history, the arts, music, African American history and civil rights and arts, Jewish history and culture, fiction, non-fiction, and a host of other tomes reflecting her varied interests. The same can be said of her 78 and 33 record collection and her vast paper ephemera collection! Her love of entertaining is equally represented in variety of dinner and service wares. This estate is truly a testament to the lady who lived her...
