He returned from one of his many ski trips one weekend and met his new tenant. Coming all the way from Pennsylvania, she had moved into the apartment complex he built and owned over the weekend. They both knew immediately. They dated, they married. They purchased their dream home.  He gave up skiing because he wouldn’t risk injury now that he was a married man and would have a family to support. They camped, they fished, they clammed and rode their dune buggy at Pismo Beach. He helped found and was a member of the Galivanters, the Elks camping group. He was an Elk for 72 years and a PER, (a Past Exalted Ruler). They raised their son and daughter. They often took clothes to people in need in Mexico in addition to the numerous service projects they provided to the community through the Elks club. He was a cement contractor and improved their home with many additions including a wine cellar, an RV storage, and a built-in BBQ area.  Mom was a capable administrator of dad’s business. He was devastated when she passed about seven years ago. Now they are together again.

Furniture – Round dining table, 2 leaves and six chairs. China cabinet, love seat sleeper in bamboo, arts & crafts occasional tables and coffee table, country French Bombay chest, pair of easy chairs, flat top desk, 2 natural  wicker chairs, Italian bedroom set including a triple dresser with mirror, a pair of night cabinets, a drum side table, a lingerie chest and a king bed. A three-tier iron and glass open curio, a double recliner in brown leatherette, a pair of breakfast bar stools and a pair of standard height bar stools with chrome bases, a white Windsor chair, entertainment cabinet,  a pair of twin beds, a white flat desk , a chest of 3 drawers, a wall unit.

Furnishings & Art -  Original art and prints. Lamps, a chinoiserie hand painted  fire screen, mirrors, clocks, a floor world globe, a carved Elk, silk plants, a wine cork wreath, figurines.

Appliances – a beautiful white side-by-side refrigerator, a washer & gas drier, microwave, electric oven, toaster, can opener, coffeemaker, a recumbent bike.

 Entertaining – Dinnerware, Bar-ware, decanters, figural liquor bottles, stainless flatware, stems, tumblers, linens, napkins, silver plated hollow ware and flatware, two punch bowls with cups.

 Kitchenalia – Pots and pans, utensils,  trays, platters, serving bowls, etc.

Clothing – Really nice men’s clothing including slacks suits, ties, sport shirts, outerwear, shoes, hats, an impressive collection of baseball caps. size L.
