This sale is by appointment - San Diego Modernism at it's finest.  These are located at a Henry Hester Designed home.  The first few pictures are examples of Henry Hester's architecture that I just love - so I am sharing it with you.  The interiors were designed by the famous San Diego Interior Designer Gerald Jerome  http://www.modernsandiego.com/HenryHester.html.

I joined a fraternity my first semester and things deteriorated from there.  The fraternity offered access to girls (not that it did me any good) and beer (which I took full advantage of).  I took a reasonably academic load the first semester but only a few classes the second including a Furniture Design class in the Art Department (on the recommendation of one of my fraternity brothers that it was easy).  I nearly flunked that class -- too much partying to do school work.  I did walk by a figure drawing class one day and saw the nude model through the open door.  I thought to myself that drawing naked women beat the hell out of studying engineering and changed my major.  I found out later how hard life drawing was to do well. Kinyon. Darrel is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Poley Millsap of Soquel and a graduate of Santa Cruz High School.  The article by Frederic Whitaker is titled ‘Millsap and Kinyon Illustrator Team.’ ‘…both were trained at the Art Center College of Design in Los Angeles… Millsap and Kinyon have won more than 35 awards in various art exhibitions and both believe in the art of illustration.’ They recommend aspiring illustrators to go to art school.  The article is illustrated with artwork by both artists, per Santa Cruz Sentinel, June 22, 1969, page 21; “MILLSAP, DARREL WAYNE ‘BUNKY’ Darrel Wayne Millsap passed away on April 11, 2012, due to complications of stroke, diabetes and Parkinson's disease.  He was born in Ontario, CA, on May 9, 1931, to Napoleon and Isabelle Millsap.
