We do everything from taking your items to auction (LA, New York) to having the end results of the sale liquidated to a consignment store or Charity. One of our goals is to keep items out of the landfill and reuse them. We are a local green business or try to be!
We specialise in helping seniors with Estate Sales when they are changing residences. Our main area of activity is in the La Jolla, Del Mar, Solana Beach, Rancho Santa Fe areas. But if we are asked to do an interesting sale anywhere - we will go! We love an adventure!
Catherine Waters, the founder of Blue Waters Relocation, grew up in Del Mar, California. After graduating from UC Santa Barbara, she moved to New York and established herself as a top-tier set decorator in the film and television industry. In 2001, she returned to San Diego and joined Coldwell Banker, earning back-to-back sterling sales awards. In 2011 she started Blue Waters Relocation by helping downsize the parents of friends she grew up with. She realized this business used all the things she loves to do and has had success in! She loves to work with people in their 4th quarter, she loves furniture, she loves photography and social media, plus she has a plethora of contacts in the world of fine art and jewelry as well as furniture from her previous career as a Set Decorator in New York and LA. She credits her professional success to consistently exceeding client expectations, a success factor at the heart of Blue Waters Relocation.
