Again L.A. - Beverlywood Estate Sale - 102 Years! MGM to Mid-Century - Jam Packed!

This weekend we have the first of two back to back sales on consecutive weekends!

Again L.A. is pleased to invite you to a fun eclectic sale in the Beverlywood district of Los Angeles beginning this Friday, June 7, at 10am! For those of you unfamiliar with this wonderful older L.A. neighborhood it is located between Pico and the 10 Freeway and West of Robertson. This is the estate of long term Angelenos...Dad was an MGM Studios Golden age attorney who later moved to Fox and Mom was the quintessential homemaker. Both were creative spirits with a love of literature, the arts, classical and other genres of music, entertaining, travel, and dad had a special love of all things film. He was a huge collector of silent films and after his death several years ago his extensive collection of original reels and other mementos of the silent area was donated to Duke University. Their estate continues some interesting MGM and Other Studio Mementos...Paper Ephemera...an incredible HUGE LP Collection in Mint Condition...an equally impressive and fun library of everything from the classic OZ books to art, fiction, non-fiction, and other interesting hardcovers, coffee table books, and more! We have some incredible treasures including the largest mint Victorian Embroidered Silk Piano Scarf I have ever seen... Sterling, Paper Ephemera and Collectibles, Camera and Film Equipment, California and Other Pottery, Silver and Other Jewelry, Tons of Household and more! You will enjoy sorting through the huge variety of interesting items in this estate! Being that the missus was over 100 and the mister nearly that when he passed – the majority of the furniture needs a bit of love and will be priced accordingly (Great for painting and refurbishing).

The neighborhood is very well maintained and does have signage and neighborhood restrictions to preserve the quaintness. There will be no signage leading to the sale and you will have to use your GPS to find the home – and there will be no evidence of the sale in the front yard per the association rules. We ask that you respect the Beverlywood association rules and treat the neighbors' driveways and yards with courtesy.

The records consist of primarily classical music from the 1940s-1970s on Mercury, RCA, Deutsche Grammophon, Angel and Others. There are over 50 Movie Soundtrack Albums – including Promos and Many are Sealed. There are also Early Rock Including Elvis and Bill Haley and Such, Some Novelty/Hollywood Records, Some Jazz, and Odds and Ends like a Large Format Radio Transcription.
