50+ Year Estate of Jeweler/Gemologist - Great Fun Packed Sale!

This is the estate of a salty, swearing, cranky but endearing lady by the name of Belle. Ms Belle 's hubby was a gemologist and he developed a new way to cut and polish diamonds and gemstones and they made quite a tidy little bundle when they sold the company. They never had any kids – but they traveled extensively collecting rocks and gems along the way. Belle lost her husband quite a few years ago and she bought a home up in Ladera Heights where she doted on the neighbors children – teaching them dirty words and jokes that they were never to share with their parents and always having an open door to them as a surrogate grandmother. Belle has now reached the point where life needs to be simpler and she must liquidate her huge collection and home.

Belle was never one to give a damn about furnishings or things...all she cared about was piddling with her gemstones and jewelry and selling on the gemstone show circuit for years! Over those years her large 5 bedroom home became a warren of boxes packed full of gems, jewelry findings, semi-precious jewelry, junk jewelry, petrified wood, jade, geodes, agates, quartz, topaz, raw opals, chrysophase, lapis and tons of other collectible and fascinating stones and minerals. One room was nothing but beautiful cut stones...all packed away in tons of vintage chocolate boxes...rubies, emeralds, lapis, tourmalines, Citrines, beryls, amethysts, opals, quartz, topaz, turquoise, peridots, and more! Faceted, Cabochons, Beads, Drilled, Carved, Rough...if its a gem or jewelry grade mineral...we probably have it...and I have not even gotten into the literally MOUNDS of jewelry everywhere!

Belle also had boxes and boxes packed full of fun oddball stuff ranging from the silly to the interesting.....silly fun stuff to sell at the shows to fascinating things purchased on her travels. There is literally no rhyme or reason to the items you will find in this sale. There is some cool vintage clothing, some neat mid-century furnishings, some great lamps including Murano, and other fun items mixed among the boxes and boxes of stuff for you dig through...Check out the pictures...come on out and shop....and plan on being there digging for quite a while!

The Garage is full of bagged and sorted Polished and rough stones (I forgot to photograph these).

JEWELRY and JEWELRY FINDINGS: Boxes and Boxes and Boxes of Costume Jewelry individually bagged for you to dig through, Boxes and Boxes of Jewelry Findings – bags and bags of all kinds of chains, earring mounts, cuff link mounts, pin mounts, jump rings, eyepins, terminators, bails, drops, bead caps, links, and more....CZ Drops in every color imaginable, semi-precious stone crosses, ankhs, cowboy hats, animals, bears, hearts, and more....bags and bags of art glass beads, bags and bags of faux pearls and other beads, strands of semi-precious stone beads, drilled coral, carved coral, and more....100s of snapper boxes of necklaces, earrings, and such. Vintage pierced earrings in original retail cases, Lots of great grab bags crammed full of findings and as-is jewelry, Funky Amber jewelry with bees, snakes, and bugs, funky silly costume from the late 60s to the early 90s, so much to dig through...you will have a blast! The 30 x 50 foot Living Room is packed solid with nothing but bagged and loose Jewelry, Findings, and Grab Bags.

GEMSTONES: We have literally 1000's of cut gemstones – amethyst, citrines, beryls, emeralds, tourmalines, rubies, coral, sapphires, quartz, topaz, lapis, malachite, spinels, carnelian, opal, turquoise, mother of pearl. pearls, onyx, sodalite, and every other faceted, colored, or fancy mineral possibly used in jewelry. No Diamonds. Better larger stones will be in the Case/Showcase area – smaller stones will be sold in the office. Many are bagged and lots are in lots. All are massively discounted from Belle's wholesale prices....

FURNITURE: Not a whole lot of furniture as Ms Belle has moved and the majority of furniture remaining was in rough condition.
