Join Again L.A. for a fun Discovery Sale in Mount Washington this Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday, January 28, 29, and 30th, from 10am to 4pm Daily!

This is the estate of well respected photographer, writer, and film maker, Sara Terry. Ms Terry made her fame for her incredible work documenting in film and in writing the struggles of survivors of war. Her imagery was very powerful and filled with an empathy and emotion that not only commands the viewers attention but honors and respects the very real strength and pain of those that are rebuilding their lives in areas such as Sierra Leone and Bosnia. Her works were not limited to war only - but covered other injustices including a well received 2021 fill documenting the wealth gap between investors snapping up mobile home parks and raising the rents of fixed income residents and revealing her creativity and humor in her 2019 reimagining (and gender swapping) of famous works of art with her "(Re)Thinking the Male Gaze." project and show.

She really was an incredible force and very talented artist.

Her estate clearly illustrates her love of the arts, her focus on what makes life good, and her respect for her peers. Her home is the very definition of a comfortable escape - with comfortable furnishings, interesting collectibles and what nots, eclectic clothing and personal items, and an incredible kitchen. Her studio is jam packed with not just her own works but works of her peers - great photography equipment and cameras, and so much more! Her library is incredible - packed with limited editions and signed books by many of the top photographers of our time - and so many other great texts! We also have framed works by painters and respected photographers - and lots of plants and garden items!
