Featuring important works by renowned artist, Hunt Slonem and contemporary works by Nicholis Africano, Katrina Andry, James Groff, Fernando Canovas, Jonathan Silver, Keith Pareli, Aron Belka, Joan Miró and many others. The stylish owners of this beautifully appointed home have lived in Mexico City and New York City, where they were heavily involved in the NYC art scene. They accumulated fabulous works of art. stunning antiques and stylish furnishings along the way. They are fabulous entertainers and hosted beautiful parties in this home and this sale includes all the beautiful appointments used at their lavish parties.
There is something for everyone at this sale! Every cabinet and closet is full - lots to uncover and discover! This is a great opportunity to acquire fine furnishings and modern art without the additional fees! Hope to see everyone at this very special sale August 9-10.
Important Notes:
- The house is going to act of sale right after the estate sale, so there will be a short window to coordinate and remove furniture and art from the house. Everything must be picked up and removed no later than Tuesday evening, August 12! There is very little flexibility here, so please plan ahead and have movers on standby. We have recommended movers posted in this ad and at the checkout tables. We highly recommend Eric Jackson/Smooth Movers (504) 251-3826 and Ricky Stephens (504) 418-6150.
- We will not be able to assist in removing furniture and heavy items from the house. Please be prepared with capable help and see out list of movers at the checkout tables.
- It is important to note that a short list of items in this sale will be priced with reserves, particularly art, and may not be discounted on Sunday.
- This is a TAG estate sale, not an auction. We do not handle phone bids or sales and we do not ship. You must attend the sale to purchase. We do not release pricing prior to the sale.
- Although the house is large, expect limited access when we first open. We will do our best to get everyone in the sale as quickly as possible. Numbers will be passed out at 7am sharp Saturday only.
