Terms

Cash, major credit cards, debit cards accepted. Checks if personally known to us. Please bring your own boxes for packing your items - you may need more than one. We do not respond to emails asking us for pricing on individual items - come to the sale if you want to know how much something costs. No early sales. If you purchase furniture or appliances, you need to be able to pick-up and haul it away yourself.

If you are interested in any of the items, please email us at dustbuny@ix.netcom.com or call at 504.888.9288.  You will be directed to another platform that will allow you to view more details, measurements, etc and actually bid on the items.

More great items from the estate of Milburn Calhoun, M.D., former owner of Pelican Publishing Company in New Orleans.  Next week we will host an appointment only sale of rare books and papers from his incredible personal collection of Southern and Louisiana material, so watch for that listing.  If you are interested in being on the invite list for that sale, please contact us.

For now, please enjoy this final offering of great items from his estate.  Local pickup, only.  Westbank location.  Pick up Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 only.  When you pick up you will be able to look through the home & garage (using social distancing) and see if there is anything else you want. It MAY be possible to bring small items to Metairie for pickup at an agreed upon time/date, or to ship small items (you pay shipping) to other locations in the U.S..  Please inquire BEFORE you bid.

Pickup days will be Friday, May 29th (9:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.) and Saturday, May 30th (9:00 a.m. - Noon)  If you cannot pick up on the Westbank (off DeGaulle)  in New Orleans, LA on either one of those days, DO NOT PURCHASE.  Those are the ONLY days we will be available for pickup.  Each purchaser will be telephoned and given an appointment for pick up (one person every 15 minutes).  It MAY be possible for us to bring a few small lots over to Metairie for pick up.  Please ask BEFORE bidding if that is doable on the lots you are interested in.

We are available by phone and email for any questions on these items.  Please be sure of what you are buying. Questions must be asked BEFORE committing to buy.  You do NOT have to put a credit card on file to buy - we will collect all payments at pick up.  However, make sure you really want the item you are purchasing.  Failure to pick up items or honor your commitment will result in you being barring from ever purchasing from our on-line sales again.
