We will be offering for sale the contents of the home owned by Iso Papo, a prominent Boston artist, a restorer of artwork, a teacher,and friend of many Boston mid century artists.

Both his home and studio are full of treasures and artwork.

HIGHLIGHTS

Selections will include artwork by Iso Papo including oils, watercolors, pen and ink, sculpture and pastels. Artwork by Hyman Bloom. “Spiritual Embrace” (Rabbi with torah)  with gallery labels. Red crayon drawings also by Hyman Bloom.  Pietro Paolo Ruebens- Early portrait of Rembrant (pencil notations on back).  Original pencil signed Thomas Hart Benton lithograph “Slow Train to Arkansas”. R.A. Blakelock- oil on board (Interior forest scene) Lloyd Lillie, Lion Denaud, Hyman Bloom, J.C. Klengel Ink and Wash. 1824. Leon Durand watercolor. 18^th and 19^th century drawings. Art Studio:  The contents of the art studio are available.  As well as old paintings and contemporary paintings, there are lots of artists supplies.  Pastels, Paints, Matting equipment and paper, Easels, Large table specifically for matting, Cabinets with narrow draws for laying out art, Tools for framing and art, Canvasses, Frames, Outdoor Sculpture of Man.
