Description & Details
Dr. Dwayne Wise has retired as a well respected Mississippi State University Genetics Professor in the Department of Biological Sciences. His long career took him to many international destinations as he collaborated with other scientists around the world. His work garnered 2 NATO grants and many accolades. He has decided to move near family after sadly losing his beloved wife, Janet, who was a Biology Instructor at the Mississippi School for Math and Science located in Columbus, MS. Dr. Wise is leaving behind many treasures that he and Janet collected over the years from travels around the world to destinations including France, Italy, New Zealand, Japan, and Spain to name a few!
Some of their most treasured trips were to New Mexico right here in the good ole USA! They frequented galleries and antique shops on every trip out west......coming home with fabulous pottery and authentic Navajo hand woven wool rugs.
When Dwayne and Janet weren't traveling they both enjoyed many hobbies. He had a small workshop in his garage and evidently was a "Jack of All Trades". Janet outdid herself in the sewing department! She hand-knitted children's clothes, sewed anything that could be sewn, and did extraordinary needlepoint. Oh, and by the way, when they weren't busy with all of that, they loved to hike and walk together!
COME FIND SOME SPECIAL TREASURES to enjoy in your home so they can make wonderful memories for you too!
