Rumson Estate, Not to be Missed!! by Attic to the Basement

Welcome to our exquisite estate sale in Rumson! This event showcases a house brimming with stunning treasures, featuring a diverse array of items including antiques, designer handbags, jewelry, and furniture. Among our offerings are multiple sets of china, such as Amari and Basket, along with various antique oak cabinets, drop-leaf tables, ladder-back cane chairs, Empire dressers, and accent pieces.

Art enthusiasts will find several pieces, many dating back to the 1800s, as well as contemporary decorative art. Don't miss our collection of flow blue antique china, Waterford, and Staffordshire figurines. The tea set, while not sterling, is beautifully crafted and in excellent condition. Additionally, we have a collection of baseball memorabilia, Lionel trains, and Vanity Fair prints from the late 1800s.

The estate sale also features a well-stocked library with an assortment of books covering topics such as art, coffee table books, politics, and military history. Our sterling silver collection includes an array of monogrammed cups, candlesticks, serving trays, dessert spoons, and more—none priced below scrap value. We also offer several sets of linen napkins, placemats, tablecloths, and runners, along with king-size bedding and sheets, all in excellent condition. Towels in green and white are plentiful, most in superb shape.

Designer handbags from brands like Gucci, Fendi and Louis Vuitton  will be available, though please note some of  the Louis Vuitton items are not authentic. Additionally, we feature Judith Leiber pieces along with various other Parisian designers.

In the garage and basement, you'll discover a variety of everyday items, including cleaning supplies, toys, books, records, and more.

Parking is available on Kemp Road; please refrain from parking on Rumson Road.   PLEASE USE rumson road Entrance for pick ups only!!  

For early arrivals, if you create a list, you must remain on the property to maintain it. We cannot be held responsible for any lists that are replaced, removed, or blown away.

A professional delivery service is available for a fee on most Mondays and Tuesdays. Please be aware that if you are unavailable during your scheduled delivery, no refunds will be issued. Thank you!

Gabito Labios Art  (Mexican, 1898-1996). Agapito Labios was born Agapito Engel Cifuentes in Pachuca, Hidalgo, Mexico in September of 1898. He took an active part in the Mexican Revolution and was put in prison. There he started painting the cell wall. The mayor of the town saw his paintings, liked them, and ordered him to paint his two little girls. Thus his artistic career began.

Labios was a self taught artist and made his living doing portraits - painting his children in the primitive Mexican style. He started selling on Sundays in the Lagunilla (the thieves market) and immediately his fame began to grow. He later had a shop called Mercado de Artesanias at La Ciudadela in Mexico City where his work was sought out by collectors worldwide.

He died in 1996, and his son currently owns the shop.
