Date & Time: Friday, March 20, 2026, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm PST
(This is the only designated pickup day; all items must be retrieved by 6:00 pm PST)
Pickup Policy
All items must be removed by 6:00 pm PST on the designated pickup day.
Failure to pick up items on the designated day will result in forfeiture without refund. Failure to pick up does not relieve the buyer of payment obligations. All sales remain final.
Title and ownership of all items transfer to the buyer at the time the invoice is paid, regardless of pickup status.
Any items not removed by the designated pickup time may be resold, donated, discarded, or otherwise disposed of at the sole discretion of Sunny Transitions without refund.
Buyers must bring their own boxes, packing materials, and sufficient assistance for item removal.
BUYER’S PREMIUM & SALES TAX
Buyer’s Premium: 15%
Sales Tax: Clark County, Nevada sales tax of 8.375% applies to all purchases unless a valid resale certificate is on file prior to auction close.
PAYMENT TERMS
By registering and placing bids, the bidder enters into a legally binding purchase agreement and authorizes Sunny Transitions to charge the credit card on file for all purchases, buyer’s premiums, taxes, shipping drop-off fees, and applicable charges.
Bidders are responsible for all bids placed under their account. Claims of accidental bidding, technical issues, misunderstanding of lot descriptions, or third-party access to an account do not invalidate a sale.
Credit Card Requirements: The name on the HiBid account must match the credit card used at registration.
Automatic Card Processing: The credit card on file will be charged automatically at auction close.
High-Value Items: Purchases of gold, silver, vehicles, or single items over $1,000 may require full payment via Zelle to help@sunnytransitions.com
. Include the invoice number in the memo.
Shipping Payments: High-dollar shipped items may also require Zelle payment as directed on the invoice.
No Alternate Payment Apps: We do not accept PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, or similar platforms.
Unpaid Invoices: Unpaid invoices may result in bidding suspension, account notation within HiBid, referral to collections, and/or legal action.
Sunny Transitions reserves the right to correct clerical errors, typographical errors, or lot description inaccuracies prior to or after auction close.
ID VERIFICATION
Buyers must present a government-issued photo ID matching the HiBid account name and credit card used.
Sunny Transitions may photograph your ID for fraud prevention and verification purposes.
SHIPPING POLICY
UPS STORE DROP-OFF ONLY – NO IN-HOUSE SHIPPING
Sunny Transitions does not pack, quote, measure, insure, or ship items. We provide UPS Store drop-off service only. All packing and shipping services are performed exclusively by a third-party UPS Store.
NO WEIGHTS, DIMENSIONS, OR SHIPPING ESTIMATES
Sunny Transitions does not calculate, provide, or guarantee weights, dimensions, packaging sizes, or shipping cost estimates under any circumstances.
If you require an estimate, you must contact the UPS Store directly before bidding. Assume shipping is expensive and may exceed the value of the item.
Shipping is generally appropriate only for higher-value items.
UPS STORE COSTS – BUYER RESPONSIBILITY
The UPS Store charges separately for packing materials, labor, shipping, insurance, and signature confirmation. Buyer pays the UPS Store directly.
UPS Store pricing, policies, packing methods, and timelines are determined solely by the UPS Store and may change without notice. Sunny Transitions has no authority or control over UPS Store rates or procedures.
SUNNY TRANSITIONS DROP-OFF FEES
$10 per lot for small items.
If multiple small lots fit in one box (example: shoebox size), the drop-off fee remains $10.
$50 per lot for large or oversized items, including items requiring truck transport.
INSURANCE & SIGNATURE REQUIRED
Buyer must pay for UPS insurance and signature confirmation on all shipped items — no exceptions.
APPROVAL REQUIRED / RIGHT TO REFUSE SHIPPING
For breakable items or items larger than a breadbox, approval is required before bidding.
Out-of-state bidders may be required to email a signed invoice and matching photo ID to help@sunnytransitions.com
for transfer approval.
Sunny Transitions reserves the right to refuse shipping of any lot at its sole discretion.
SHIPPING PROCESS & TIMELINE
UPS drop-off occurs only after:
Local pickup has concluded
The buyer has e-signed the invoice provided
The UPS Store confirms acceptance
Delivery to the UPS Store may take up to 1 week or longer depending on volume, scheduling, staffing, or UPS Store capacity. Timelines are estimates only and are not guaranteed.
After drop-off, the UPS Store may require an additional 1 to 2 weeks or longer to pack and process shipment.
Shipping is not a fast process.
RISK OF LOSS & TRANSFER OF CONTROL
Once a lot is delivered to the UPS Store, control and responsibility transfer to the buyer and the UPS Store.
Sunny Transitions has no further responsibility for packing quality, shipping speed, delays, loss, damage, insurance claims, or delivery issues.
ABANDONMENT
If a buyer fails to complete required shipping steps, including invoice signature, payment, or UPS coordination within 7 days of notification, the lot may be deemed abandoned without refund.
FINALITY OF SALES
All items are sold as-is, where-is, with no warranties or guarantees, expressed or implied.
Sunny Transitions makes no representations regarding condition, age, authenticity, functionality, completeness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or value.
Bidders are solely responsible for their own evaluation prior to bidding.
RETURNS POLICY
No returns are accepted unless required by law or approved in writing by Sunny Transitions due to a material description error.
If a return is approved, a restocking fee of up to 35% may apply.
SAFETY NOTICE
By entering the property, you assume all risks associated with uneven surfaces, stairs, and typical residential conditions.
Sunny Transitions is not responsible for accidents or injuries except in cases of gross negligence.
DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Any dispute arising from participation in this auction shall be governed by the laws of the State of Nevada and resolved in Clark County, Nevada.
