Preview/Inspection:  When: Friday January 12 from 9am – 5pm EST – Where: Powell Auction & Realty, 6729 Pleasant Ridge Rd., Knoxville, TN  37921 – Why: To provide you, the buyer, with the opportunity to check out each item to ensure condition, age, maker, serial and model numbers, actions and caliber before you bid on an item.  Please take the opportunity to take advantage of this preview/inspection time.  These firearms and other items are from a pawn shop.  Some are in “like new” condition and some are in “very well used” condition.  It is for you to decide which is which.  We will help and be honest in our help but ultimately condition is an opinion.  We can tell you if there is rust on the barrel, scratches on the wood, etc.  But if we say a gun is in pretty good condition; that is our opinion.  Your opinion may differ.  Our pretty good may be your fair.  All sales are “as is” with opinions not counting.  Please inspect items before you bid!!!

Lots START ending: Sunday  January 21 at 2pm EST.  What does “start” ending mean?  This is an auction.  It is being conducted “On Line Only”!!  Prebidding starts as soon as we post the auction to the internet.  The items will be on a soft close.  When 2pm hits on the 21st the first item will count down to zero.  If no further bids are placed on Lot #351, this item will close.  If people continue to bid, the time will be extended until all bidding has ceased.  It is not unusual for a lower number lot to still have activity on it on into the auction.  You may leave your maximum bid and let the computer do your bidding for you.  What is the advantage of this?  You don’t have to be tied to the computer.  If you win, you win.  If you are outbid, you don’t win.  It’s that simple.  If you try to beat another bidder by pushing the button when the bidding is going on, you could: cause the auction to continue past your comfort level or if you have a power or internet outage, you could lose out all together.  We are here to help any way we can.  Use your resources!!

Payment:  If you are local to our location, 6729 Pleasant ridge Road Knoxville, TN 37921  area and would like to pay by cash or check; you may do so on Monday January 22nd from 9am – 12pm (noon) EST. If you live out of the Knoxville, TN area or out of state.  We will automatically charge the credit card you have on file with Hibid.

Pick up/Removal:  At our location, 6729 Pleasant ridge Road  Knoxville, TN 37921 Monday  January 22nd. There is no need to get here before 9am since the TBI in Nashville does not open until 9am EST (8am CST).  We will not be able to do the background check before they open.  Please see Firearm info below!

Shipping: Any firearms that are shipped will be mailed via USPS with insurance and signature required.  All ammunition will be shipped via UPS.  They can not be shipped together.  There are some items that we will not ship in this auction.  Those will be listed in the Lot description.

Firearms: Out of State Purchases: ALL will be shipped to an FFL DEALER ONLY!!! (NO C&R dealers) Including ALL BLACK POWDER!! NO Exceptions!!! NO SALES to CALIFORNIA or HAWAII!!! Ammo: NO SALES to Alaska, California, Hawaii or Massachusetts. It is YOUR responsibility to know YOUR state laws, BEFORE bidding!!!
In State Purchases: ALL firearms are subject to TBI background checks, (regardless of age).
$10 for every 3 guns. 10.00 each, if gun has no serial number. Gun Parts will be subject to TBI background check. Black powder guns and starter pistols with interchangeable barrels will be subject to TBI background check.
Must have a valid Drivers License with a Photo. Address must match Drivers License. Must be 18 years old for long guns. Must be 21 years old for hand guns, pistol grip long guns or gun parts. Please check our website under gun rules for more details. Disclosure on Firearms Sale on website and receipt that firearms have not been tested or inspected for firing. Before firing, it is the BUYERS responsibility to have firearms inspected by a gunsmith. Buyer agrees to hold Powell Auction & Realty LLC harmless for any claim, injury or malfunction.
Do not bid, IF you think you may get denied, IF you get denied OR if the gun is not transferable, the guns will be resold at YOUR expense! NO Refunds!
Gun Pickup: will be following the auction or the following Monday January 22nd @ 9-5.
