The ESTATE of CARL BARHO
Carl Barho was friend and art dealer to many famous Texans through being the longtime manager at the legendary Country Store Gallery on Lavaca Street in Austin, Texas. Although he passed in 2000, there are still hundreds of paintings and other delightful art items in his estate that are now available to the public. We also have photos and correspondence of artists represented by The Country Store including AD Greer, Porfirio Salinas, Mel Warren, Peter Hurd, Eduoard Cortes and others.

- Gerald McCann (b.1916-1995) -born Gerald Patrick McCann in Queens NY attended Pratt U and went on to illustrate for legendary pulp magazines such as Western Story and Wild West weekly
- Robert Wesley Amick (1879-1969) -Canon City Colorado printmaker, illustrator and painter

Kennedy and L.B.J; photos and personal correspondence from the likes of Lyndon Baines, Lady Bird, and Lucy Baines Johnson, Dewey Charles Bradford, Liz Carpenter Preston Smith, John Connally, and many other notable Texans !
This sale also includes memorabilia from the Gallery including rustics, signs, furniture and doo-dads and signatures and autographs of prominent visitors to the gallery including one by Dwight D.
