The sale is a full contents of home sale from the estate of William and Elizabeth Stokes- scholars and longtime educators and beloved residents of Shady Hollow. For the first time AES will go to 50% off on Saturday 10 am to 4pm. Get an early start to your Christmas!
Folks will enter the home through the garage which is packed and then into the house also packed full of great stuff! We have major appliances including a Hotpoint Washer and Dryer, microwave oven and a host of small kitchen appliances. For the handymen and women we have quality routers, drills, a table saw, hand and electric planes, weedwackers, hydraulic jack, and so much more. You will see it is Christmas as you enter the garage as we have lots of great holiday decor, lights and gadgets. Inside some beautiful furniture including a vintage Drexel Heritage dining room table which opens up to more than 10 ft with all three leaves and has six side and two armchairs The line is called "Passage" and it is in lovely estate condition. We also have the matching china cabinet and buffet server - which are being sold separately. This home also contains two mid-century modern bedroom suites -Broyhill "Saga" and Stanley sets include highboy dresser, dresser with mirror and full size headboard, Thomasville King set includes dresser and mirror, highboy dresser, King headboard and two nightstands. Also we have four pieces of Lane's very cool Danish Modern line "Perceptions" the long surfboard style coffee table and 3 lamp/side tables all with "basket weave" drawers for storage.
We have lots of quality costume jewelery: Brooches, necklaces, vintage men's and ladies watches and closing out several estates we mason jars filled with costume and "junque" jewelery, vintage pocket knives, quilts, linens and sewing (four sewing machines!). Very nice cameras, cell phones and computer peripherals too.
