Why do you charge a fee to reserve your spot in line for Day One?
We’ve found that when early sign-ups are free and unlimited, a large percentage of people reserve a spot but don’t attend. This creates long lists that don’t accurately reflect how many shoppers are actually coming.
When shoppers see 150–200 names on a list, it can discourage them from attending because they assume they’ll face a long wait — even when that isn’t the case.
Limiting early entry to 100 confirmed shoppers keeps things accurate, fair, and welcoming for everyone.
