Cash or debit/credit cards only!! No checks!! Anyone paying via credit/debit card must show current state issued identification, also card must be in YOUR name!! Doors open at 8 am sharp (CENTRAL TIME ZONE!!). ABSOLUTELY NO EARLY SALES! Sales tax will be charged on all items purchased unless you provide us with a copy of your CURRENT resale tax exemption number (NO EXCEPTIONS!!). Not responsible for accidents. All children MUST be supervised at all times or you will be asked to leave the sale. You are responsible for packing and loading of the items that you purchase. We have a limited quantity of boxes/paper, so bring your own supplies if you have them. Discounts on the second day.

Wiregrass Estate Sales is honored to have been chosen to liquidate the fabulous estate of Mrs. Madrid Bailey of Auburn.  This large estate has been packed up and moved to a large, air conditioned warehouse in Opelika.  The sale features fine furnishings and accessories.  

Mrs. Madrid was born in Troy Alabama. She attended Sidney Lanier High School in Montgomery and graduated from Auburn High School. While attending Alabama Polytechnic Institute, now Auburn University, Madrid was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta Sorority, later serving as an AGD alumni advisor. Madrid served as Secretary for the Auburn Housing Authority and was the first female real estate agent and real estate broker in Lee County. She was the principal founder of the ABC Construction Company and Co-Owner of Benson Evans Realty. Madrid was a faithful member of Auburn United Methodist Church and proud of her membership in PEO, Auburn University's 1856 Society, Auburn Women's Club, and Auburn Campus Club.
