Wonderful sale in Stamford home of a collector of art and treasures during his travels.
There are original works by Manneville Elihu Dearing Brown, Wilhelm Neumayer, Eugene Klosewski and more. Antique French, British and American colored engravings and prints, including many equestrian works. There is also a pair of stained glass from the Frank Lloyd Wright collection, as well as an original Curtis Jere metal art.
The estate has many beautiful pieces of opaline, including lamps, glassware and collectibles. Other decorative items include tapestries, crystal, chandeliers, sculptures, lamps, vases and much more. There is a beautiful, antique Morbier clock in beautiful working condition. We have china, crystal and many pieces of antique silverplate.
Furniture includes a tufted couch with riveted arms, many pairs of side chairs, upholstered chair and ottoman, mid-century brass and glass coffee and side tables, a pie crust table, leather top table and lots of wooden side tables. Dining Table and chairs, a Baker Milling Road desk, Art Deco chairs, King four poster bed, John Widdicomb nightstands, vintage secretary desk, French day bed, marble top chest, antique server and an antique Seatmore soda fountain display table and chairs.
Outdoor furniture includes wrought iron seating, urns, lawn jockey and assorted lawn statuary.
