This set includes a coffee pot with a hinged lid and scrolled wooden handle and an open sugar bowl and creamer set. The coffee pot is etched “Aunt Sally’s C.S.B.C. of N.E.” to the front and the sugar bowl and creamer are etched “C.S.B.C. of N.E.” to the front. The underside of each is stamped “Sterling 2155” alongside the J. Wagner & Son maker’s mark. The total approximate weight, excluding coffee pot with wooden handle, is 9.235 ozt.

Semi-Antique Hand-Knotted Northwest Persian Area Rug: A semi-antique northwest Persian wool rug. This small area rug likely was made by a Bijar weaver. It features a rectilinear, modified herati pattern (with hexagons in place of the traditional diamonds at the center of the pattern) over a madder red field and slate blue spandrels. Amid a universal palette of madder red, slate blue, rose, cream, and midnight blue, its spandrels are stepped with rose and midnight blue edging. Framing the field are a pair of guard borders featuring linked boteh over cream. These flank the unresolved primary border, which features a stylized herati pattern over midnight blue. Selvedges are overcast, the rug finishing at either end with short, red kilim skirts and short, twisted cotton warp fringe. The rug is unlabeled.
