Adele & Frank Russo were born during the Great Depression and henceforth saved everything. Their favorite refrain was, “We might need it someday!” Originally from Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn, they resided in the same pre-war apartment in Forest Hills, Queens for over 60 years. When one never moves, one never purges. The good news about this is their belongings are in wonderful condition – many still in their original packaging. The Russos were lifelong lovers of film, music & theater. They went to the Copacabana and the Brooklyn Paramount frequently in the 1950s to see acts like Frank Sinatra and Tito Puente....
