This estate sale represents the 50+ years that Elisha and Zmira Birnbaum lived in their eclectic Upper West Side apartment. Elisha was a renowned foley artist in the film industry, and Zmira was a published author. As an avid photographer and a movie buff his whole life, Elisha collected all kinds of still cameras, movie cameras and projectors – both vintage and new. In his retirement, Elisha started to paint like his uncle, the listed artist, Martin Birnbaum.
