Beth Hertz Oil Painting on Canvas "Green Line": An oil painting on canvas abstract composition titled Green Line by listed Cincinnati artist Beth Hertz (b.1920). This piece depicts an abstract scene comprised of bright, transitioning colors, imbued with light, within gradients of yellow green, red and blue tonalities. The artist’s name, title and series enumeration (72 I) is inscribed to the lower left corner of the verso. Presented as an unframed canvas. Continental School Oil Painting on Canvas After Jan van Os Floral Still Life: A Continental School oil painting on canvas of a floral still life after Dutch painter Jan van Os (1744-1808). This large composition features an abundant arrangement of various vibrant flowers set on a flat surface and contrasted against a dark background. The painting is signed “Jan van Os” to the lower right. It is presented in an elaborate gesso wood frame with scrolling foliate moulding. A metal plate is affixed to the lower part of the frame, engraved “Jan van Os”.

J.M. Michel Art Nouveau Bronze on Stepped Base: An art nouveau bronze female figure by J.M. Michel, ca. 1920s. Depicted is female figure in a floral dress with elaborate hair and high heels. Signed to the verso of the base, ‘JM Michel.’ The sculpture stands upon a stepped, round base.

Royal Vienna Framed Hand Painted Porcelain Plate: A Royal Vienna hand painted porcelain plate depicting two classical females in a courtyard scene. One figure plays the harp while the other watches. The plate has three concentric borders with gilt floral and embossed motifs. A blue mark is present to the underside. Presented in a gilt and gesso wood circular frame.

Japanese Bronze Kneeling Geisha Playing Reeded Instrument: A Japanese bronze depicting a kneeling Geisha playing a reeded instrument similar to a Sho. The figure’s draped garments are richly done in an allover floral relief, beautifully folded and overlapped at the back. The female figure wears upswept hair and a serene expression. The edge at the back of the robes appears to be numbered 66916.

Antique Chinese Cloisonné Charger with Artisan Design: An antique Chinese cloisonné footed charger, c. 1900. The face of the charger displays a unique design of radishes and beetles with precise wire inlay highlighting the work of a skilled artisan. The distinct motif may indicate having been made for the Japanese market. Archaic scroll work borders the top of the plate. To the underside is a simple pattern and deep blue to the center.

Early 19th-Century Chinese Carved Cinnabar Trinket Box: An early 19th-century Chinese carved cinnabar trinket box, c. 1810-20. The box is heavily lacquered on the both the exterior and interior. The exterior displays high relief floral carvings in fine detail to either side.

Robert Herrmann Oil Painting on Canvas "Library, Inside & Out": An oil painting on canvas titled Library, Inside & Out by Cincinnati artist Robert Herrmann (American, 1922-1996), executed in 1958. This work features an abstract rendering of architectural forms, panels, and openings, portrayed with rich colors and simplified geometric shapes. The composition is signed, titled, and dated to the verso. It remains unframed. Included in the lot are two exhibition catalogs from Cincinnati Art Galleries, LLC., copyrighted 2000 and 2008.

Victorian 14K Yellow Gold "Medusa" Cameo Brooch: A Victorian carved shell cameo brooch depicting the profile of Medusa with wings on her head and a pair of entwined snakes in the hair and at the throat. Medusa was one of the three Gorgons, transformed from a beautiful mortal woman as punishment by the goddess Athena for her dalliance with Poseidon. The 14K yellow gold oval mount has wrapped detailing and a hinged bar pin.
