Quality Tools*Garage Items*Machinery*Power Tools

This auction is a life collection of a very interesting man that was talented in everything he put his hand to, the late John Mathews of Kent Ohio.  He was a life time Skilled trades person but dabbled in almost anything, not to mention he was a certified auctioneer for more than 40 years(some of you might remember him from the old Chalkers auction barn).  This auction is so large that it will take up TWO SATURDAYS OCTOBER 14TH & 21ST. If anyone knew him they could tell you that he loved God, his family, and his stuff in that order.  As far as the Stuff goes, even though his focus was always on tools and guns, he was a “horsetrader” from way back, there is no telling what we will find when the three large barns are lotted off.   The main barn is 40’ x 60’ and the two side barns are 20’ x 60’ each, so when I say there is a lot of stuff, that is an understatement.

BlackHawk, Ingersol Rand, Snap on, Craftsman, Dewalt, Milwaukee, Apex, Hummingbird, Robin aire, etc…  This man also ran a business so there is an abundance of tools that were for his crew that mostly came from the oversees direction, they will be there and for auction as well.  ATTENTION HVAC People: He was an HVAC guy on a commercial level, there are multiple reclaimers, Reclaiming tanks, Freon of ALL different types (401A, 134A, R22, R12) , gauges, nitrogen leak detectors, valves, filters, dryers, anything you could imagine.  There are torch sets, multiple regulators, tips, hoses, tanks.  There are high end wrenches from 1 ½”(or bigger) on down.  Nut drivers, screw drivers, Estwing Hammers, Dewalt drills/drivers, Milwaukee drills/drivers, drill bits, hole saws, chains, cables, whole weed eaters and parts as well, large industrial shelving, RC cola machine, full size torch set with dolly, Hobart Slicer, Taylor milkshake machine, Stainless commercial freezer/fridge, Knack Gang box, 1994 Camaro Z28 engine/Injection/transmission, New 5HP Roto-Phase converter, Large industrial Air Compressor, Large industrial horizontal band saw (single phase), Antique grease and oil machines, Lincoln Large equipment jack, Dayton Reznor heater(natural gas), Chain & Rope Blocks, Multiple electric motors, electrical disconnects, Milwaukee cut off saw, new parts washer, new 40lb sand blaster, Auto 6000 Industrial battery chargers, various Ammunition, hunting & fishing supplies, hose and cord reels, Hilti & Remmington powder actuated nailers, Heat Guns, Fluke probes and attachments, Large Cushman Industrial cart, Multiple air tools, Multiple nailers/staplers (Bostich, Dewalt, Porter cable etc…), too many hand tools and power tools to list, full height drill press, antique Delta table top drill press, Machinist Lathe that is perfect size for a shop, 2 cyl Wisconsin engine with transmission, Large bin that is packed with who know what… Nuts, bolts, pins, washers, and all of many sizes, large aluminum loading ramp.  Please, if you are still reading, understand that this is going to be two FULL days and there is no way to even touch on what all will be there once it is all unpacked and lotted off.  There is a large percentage of tools that have not even been open or even used. There will be brand new Case knives, Buck knives, and really WHO KNOWS WHAT ELSE!!!   Please come, if nothing else to pay tribute to such a collector and his stuff.
