            Bruneau & Co. Auctioneers is proud to announce their two session Spring antiques and fine art auction taking place Saturday, March 25th offering an array of antiques, decorative and fine arts, toys, and comics. The first session will start at 10:30 featuring over one hundred and fifty lots of antiques and collectibles offered live in the gallery with no online or absentee bidding. The second catalogued session will start at 12:00 featuring over three hundred and forty lots with online bidding available on, Invaluable, and Liveauctioneers.

            The company’s catalog offers over one hundred lots of fine art consisting of numerous artists and styles with a zenith of an original screenprint by Andy Warhol (1928-1987). Titled The Star, the work depicts actress Greta Garbo (1905-1990) as Dutch exotic dancer Mata Hari. Other fine art highlights include an oil and pastel on paper painting of a woman by Miguel Martinez (b.1951), an oil on canvas painting of Boston Harbor by Walter Franklin Lansil (1846-1925), and an oil on canvas Barbizon landscape by William Perkins Babcock (1826-1899). The medley of fine art will also include a contemporary mezzotint of Yankee Stadium by Craig McPherson (b.1948).

            The remainder of the firms catalog offers over two hundred lots of antiques and decorative arts lead by a Pairpoint puffy hummingbird and rose table lamp. Other decorative art highlights include two bronze sculptures by Bruno Bruni (b.1935), an Art Deco Rookwood vase by Jens Jensen, a George Nelson for Herman Miller modular sofa set, an Italian Baroque carved walnut chest, and a collection of 18C. New England furniture. Within the decorative arts section over thirty lots of toys and comics will be sold including several CBCS graded Silver Age D.C and Marvel comics.
