This lawyers book case belonged to Judge B.B. Hart of Mineola, Texas. He served for a short time in the Civil War and received his law degree from Lebanon, Tennessee. He was in partnership with James S. Hogg, the one-time governor of Texas, while Mr. Hogg resided in Mineola.
