Most of the art in this home was purchased through the Findlay Art Museums. Findlay Galleries celebrate 150 years of the art business. Founded in 1870, they specialize in Impressionism, European Modernism, and 20th Century American art. (Mrs. Cox was of the Findlay family.)
Artist Helena Adamoff was born 21 May 1906, in Moscow. She moved to France when she was 15 and took up painting in 1956 to portray her childhood memories of the Russian countryside. She exhibited in France, Austria, and the United Kingdom.
