This marvelous sale joins the pantheon of memorable sales we've hosted on Monument Ave.  A beautiful house, sumptuously furnished with many one-of-a-kind treasures, offers a rare opportunity to see and consider purchasing objects of lifetime pleasure.

Occasionally, we're asked to handle estates which can't be presented on-site.  This allows us to meld two or more estates into something of a super-sale.  A number of pieces in this sale represent a prominent North Carolina banking family.  In addition, we are proud to add the collection of Dr. Charles Bomberger, a Richmond anesthesiologist, to this already full Monument Avenue house.  Charlie, as he preferred to be called, studied in Florence and began his life-long acquisition of art and artifacts in a time and place where wonderful things were still available.  There're now available again, in another world-class city, Richmond.
