COLLECTIBLES: There are lots of great collectibles and smalls in this house. The cases are filled with nice vintage jewelry (especially the floral pins), yoyos, figurines, toy guns, ephemera, oil lamps, games, Masons, boy and girl scout items, Tin toys, aprons, books, games. Too much to mention!
KITCHEN and CHINA: The Blue Willow china is beautiful and includes USA, English and Japan makers. The oversized cups are especially great. The rare Fukagawa china is in mint condition. The collector plates run all over the gambit from early to recent, from cottage to state and city locations, from floral to Christmas (including many Copenhagen), and are priced very reasonably. We have dozens of sought after cups and saucers, teapots and the different sets of Christmas dishes includes Pfaltzgraff and Ironstone pieces. We have a huge spoon collection, lots of flatware, silver-plate settings, and Masons china and glass. The kitchen is full of Pyrex, mixing bowls, mushroom themed items, midcentury glasses, advertising glasses, cookbooks, dishes, dozens of early quilted potholders and did I say aprons? (more on those later).
LINENS and VINTAGE CLOTHING: There are more linens in this house than I can count. OK, I did count the 90+ aprons alone, wow!!! There is a plethora of printed and embroidered and crocheted tablecloths, pillow cases, some material, dozens of top quilt pieces in different design, just waiting to be quilted, along with the muslin backings, amazing! There are also scarves and doilies.
The vintage clothing includes dresses from the 40’s and dozens of Victorian cotton slips/dresses (calling out to the Georgetown ladies on these!), some are colored but most are white with frilly bottoms (some are in rough shape so they need some TLC but they are super cool). There are three wedding dresses and some formal dresses. There are also some vintage slips and a few ladies hats.
SPORTS: Go Mariners! What a great season so far. We are offering a fantastic collection of Seattle baseball memorabilia along with a few Huskies in the mix. This includes dozens of bobble heads, baseball cards, towels, miscellaneous other collectibles and neat posters. Especially cool are the Jackie Robinson commemorative and Ichiro posters of which we have multiples.
ART: There is an array of art available. This includes prints, photos and oil paintings. The acrylic bird paintings are especially nice and are on a reflective foil so they really pop!
FURNITURE: The Queen Anne dining room table is in fantastic shape and come with six chairs and two leaves. There is a single bed, a midcentury full size bed with matching vanity and side table, a cedar chest, and the single sized hospital bed is motorized. The Cupboard cabinet is great for display and storage, there is a leather topped midcentury coffee table and three matching end tables and miscellaneous early side tables and lamps. A mini midcentury coffee table, cedar chest, wood file cabinet, 5 dressers, and a dozen trunks!
GARDEN: Along with wheel barrows, rakes and shovels – we have some cool vintage lawn furniture, a swinging loveseat, some gnomes, raingear as well as general gardening tools.
MISC: The portable small Singer sewing machine comes with its carrying case and is almost mint. We have a very nice pump organ from the Chicago Cable Company in great working condition that comes along with a wonderful stool. The records include 33’s and 45’s (some children’s records), an early composite doll, a dog kennel and two dog fence sets. The four Kumho P205/70 R15 tires are studded and in great shape. The four Goodrich P205/70 R15 tires are also in good shape. The tapestries along with a few other pieces are from Samoa and one that is marked Malaefilocia that refers to the witchcraft tradition from that island.
