Search Improvements and Treasure Tracker

How many of you knew we had a search feature...? Well, we do.

The most obvious improvement to the search feature, is that it's now easily found on every single page of our site. Technically, the search was on every page, but it was hidden behind the email subscription tab and no one could seem to find it! As for the capabilities of the search, we have greatly improved the results that you can receive. Before, you could only search for particular items at sales. Now, you will be provided with all relevant data related to the search term.

As you can see in this screen shot, we searched for Chicago and were provided the linked metro area (including the number of active sales and companies), one random Gold member and any sales that include the search term. With the new smart search implemented, not only can you find sales by entering in a search term, but the results returned to you have been expanded to include other relevant information you might be looking for.

For those of you who would like to save searches, you can do so with our Treasure Tracker. Not only will you be able to save your favorite search terms, Treasure Tracker will scan every sale looking for those items and you will be notified, via email, when one of your items is listed in a sale.
