Hey, Whose Bright Idea Was It To Change EstateSales.NET?

Oh boy, Oh boy!

As you may have noticed, our site looks a little different today. We've been working on improving our site over the past few months (eight actually). In the early days of EstateSales.NET, it used to be just me making changes to the site here and there trying to improve it. Over the past three years, we've hired some really talented programmers that have taken the site to a new level in terms of functionality and performance. I couldn't be more proud of our team and the job they've done.

I hope you like what we've changed. I know what we had worked, but it was slowly becoming a poor experience for a certain group of people: people with smart phones and tablets. Apparently those things are here to stay! The amount of people viewing our site via a phone or tablet has skyrocketed over the last year or so. You could use the old site with mobile devices, but it was not a good experience. Something had to be done.

We set out to redesign the site so it could be used by anyone (whether that is someone at home on a desktop or someone on the go with an iPhone or Android phone). More and more companies are buying iPads and other tablets to list their sales. We wanted that to work flawlessly. I know there are those that will say "if it ain't broke, don't fix it." The problem is that as time goes on, it would have been more and more "broke."

There will be issues (hopefully only small ones). We've been testing like crazy for months, but there are probably things we overlooked. I hope not, but I'm realistic. If you see something that doesn't look right, please let us know. We'll get it fixed.

Here's a video we recorded that goes through some of the things we changed and why. Do you love it? Do you hate it? Let us know in the comments or contact us privately to let us know. Either way is fine.
