My grandparents started Bayard Antique Village back in 1967. Quite a few of the antiques dealers in North Florida started their business endeavors with us at Bayard. Most folks refer to me as “Little Jimmy” I was always right beside my grandfather Jimmie Searcy, thus I am third generation in the business. My grandfather taught me to deal fairly and be honest with our customers. I am proud to say that I am conducting estate sales for the children, nephews, nieces and grandchildren of the people that my grandfather conducted sales for.
In 1994, I joined forces with Donna Gilmore, a second generation antiques dealer, her mother is Vee Gilmore Hogeland. Vee owned Times Past Antiques at Bayard.
