Two WWII Naval Air Station presentation plates - with inscribed details. The larger plates is 13.5 inches in diameter and from Moffett Field, California dated 1943. The hallmark on the back is a Taxco Mexican hallmark, is a hammered piece and lists the piece as sterling. It is 780 grams. The second plate is for the Commanding Officer of Naval Air Station Houma, LA and also dated 1943. It measures 9.5 inches in diameter. The plate is marked sterling and weighs 500 grams - please note tho this one looks to be silver plate over copper and is likely NOT sterling. Neither plate has been tested. Sold as seen.
Pickup DetailsPick up by scheduled appointment on Friday and Saturday March 24th & 25th. All sales final please make sure you can comply with pick up on a first signed up basis, you will receive an email approximately 1 hour with a link to the sign up after auction closes.
