Born in East Orange, New Jersey, Randall Davey became an influential figure in early 20th century art. His work may be found in the Art Institute of Chicago; Washington DC; Whitney Museaum of Art, New York City; Museaum of New Mexico, Will Rogers Memorial Shrine, Colorado Springs and several other museums. Davey was a noted art instructor, and held teaching positions at the School of Art, Art Institute of Chicago and University of New Mexico. Davey died in 1964 in a car accident at the age of 77.
