Painting is in excellent condition. So is the heavy gilt frame. About as nice as you are going to find.

Painting is oil on canvas and measures overall about 28” x 32”.

Crisp, clean, nice and in a great, carved, mint gesso frame. Metal plate on frame reads V. CIAPPA Naples.
Great look and from a pristine Stamford estate. Frame alone is probably worth more than we are asking for the painting.

Painting appears to be un-signed and a student’s copy or forgery of Francesco Vinea’ works.
