There are only 60 of these Artist's Proofs in existence. "Coming of Spring" is a limited edition serigraph on paper by Russian-French artist and designer Erté(1892-1990). It was hand signed and numbered by the artist in 1984. It is similar to, but not identical to, a painting the artist previously created for the March 1921 cover of Harper's Bazaar. It is professionally framed in an off-white art deco style wooden frame.
Measures approx. 44" x 34" framed and the image is 28" x 20". Due to the age of this piece and the delicate nature of the paper it may have some slight imperfections. We are not art experts but we do have the Certificate of Authenticity and receipt of purchase from the Circle Gallery in Houston, Tx in 1984. Asking $6500 OBO.
