This stunning piece is from the early period of the Carlo Ginori Manufactory in Florence (1737–57), majolica after a model by Girolamo Ticciati in the mid-18th century. High-relief (the figures are three dimensional extending out of the frame) majolica on large plate in a gilded double wooden frame. Painted in polychrome on white ground. The condition is excellent for a piece of this age, although ther is a bit of crazing/cracks on the background. Has a hook on the back for hanging. It is 28"H x 23"L x 4"D. Professional shipping is available at buyer's expense.
