Designed by Leslie Harradine, it is a classic and collectible piece from Royal Doulton.
The figurine is made of bone china and measures approximately 7 1/4 inches in height.
It is a retired piece, and variations exist, including differences in painting during wartime production and changes to the facial modeling in the 1950s.
