An antique Empire style marble chime mantel clock, unbranded. White marble encasing the clock works. Round decorative brass encased glass covered clock face has Roman numbers marking the hours, dash for minutes, hour and minute hands. Opens for winding and adjusting hands. Separate winds for clock and chime. Clock works visible through removable glass cover on back of clock. Ding-like chime on hour and half-hour. Origin unknown, provenance on back. Includes one key. Made in the mid 19th Century.

Very good antique condition with signs of wear consistent with age and normal previous use. Small chips to marble. Clock functions properly. Has one key.
